Micah was born with a heart condition ultimately requiring a heart transplant at 7-1/2 years old. We sent him on a wish to Give Kids the World. Years later at 15 years old, Micah was diagnosed with a second life threatening condition - a type of cancer called Burkitt's Lymphoma. Because it was a separate condition, we did a small second wish - an online shopping spree! Micah had a great time picking out everything! He has now finished treatments for cancer and has had a clean scan for a year now.
